The IMC-AESOP Architecture for Cloud-based Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems

چکیده
A coherent architectural framework is needed to be able to cope with the imposed requirements and realize the vision for the industrial automation domain. Future factories will rely on multi-system interactions and collaborative crosslayer management and automation approaches. The Service-Oriented Architecture paradigm empowered by virtualisation of resources acts as a lighthouse. More specifically by integrating Web services, Internet technologies, Cloud systems, and the power of the Internet of Things, we can create a framework that has the possibility of empowering the seamless integration and interaction among the heterogeneous stakeholders in the future industrial automation domain. متن کاملCyber-Physical Microservices: An IoT-based Framework for Manufacturing Systems
Recent advances in ICT enable the evolution of the manufacturing industry to meet the new requirements of the society. Cyber-physical systems, Internet-of-Things (IoT), and Cloud computing, play a key role in the fourth industrial revolution known as Industry 4.0. The microservice architecture has evolved as an alternative to SOA and promises to address many of the challenges in software develo...
متن کاملEnhancing Security in Cloud-based Cyber-physical Systems
Cyber-physical systems combine traditional data-processing systems with physical actuation capabilities. The physical aspect introduces new physical risks beyond the typical cyber risks related to information security. Cyber physical systems have an additional physical interface that must be protected from attacks. Furthermore, the physical actuation capabilities increase the potential amount o...
متن کاملA secure service provisioning framework for cyber physical cloud computing systems
Cyber physical systems (CPS) are mission critical systems engineered by combination of cyber and physical systems respectively. These systems are tightly coupled, resource constrained systems and have dynamic real time applications. Due to the limitation of resources, and in order to improve the efficiency of the CPS systems, they are combined with cloud computing architecture, and are called a...
متن کاملModeling Cloud Architectures as Interactive Systems
The development and maintenance of cloud software is complicated by complex but crucial technological requirements that are tightly coupled with each other and with the software’s actual business functionality. Consequently, the complexity of design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance activities increases. We present an architecture description language that raises the level of technol...
